Selecting Items in a Custom List
On the Item form I have a custom list that displays Community Affiliations.

sourced from record type: Communities
The list of Communities comes from a Custom Record type called Communities
ID.....Name
1......Mymensingh
2......Kayanza
3......Anlong Veng
4......Cachiman
5......Sasiga
Right now we have to go to the Item and manually click all the communities that the Item is affiliated with. Some have one, some have many.
Based on some logic we have, I want to auto select the Communities in the list by clicking a button. (like an autofill)
Which nlapi do I use to select items in a list?
