Find Company using a Contact ID

I am on the Item form and I have the internal ID of a Contact.

How can I use the Contact InternalID to find the Company that contact belongs to?

I have to do this Client Side.
Is it just a lookup using the nlapiLookupField? Does anyone have an example?
