changing status with script
i have a button that changes the status of the record.
it is a user event type script that happens in beforeload
when the button is clicked, it runs this function called lowerapproval
function lowerapproval()
{
var recid = nlapiGetRecordId();
nlapiSubmitField('returnauthorization', recid, 'status', 'Pending Receipt');
}
this isn't working though. when i click on the button, nothing happens.
what am i doing wrong?
