How do we alert a NS group about a Saved Transaction Search?

Under the "Alerts" tab, there is the column that says "User" and a dropdown list for each line and I can add an individual user (strangely, a number of companies we deal with have their names show up on there ).  I'd like to add a NS group that's already created but Groups are not available.  This seems kinda silly not to have that included.

How do I go about this?  Will I have to write a script?
