Exporting search to Excel/XML - all cells are strings?
I prefer the CSV export, while our sales team naturally prefers Excel. However they've run into trouble sorting and summing within the exported spreadsheet. Looking into it, I noticed the resulting XML tags everything as string. For example:
<Cell ss:StyleID="s__text"><Data ss:Type="String">6/30/2006</Data></Cell> <Cell ss:StyleID="s__text"><Data ss:Type="String">187.50</Data></Cell>
Is there anyway to get the Excel export to recognize and use the correct data types such as ss:Type="DateTime" and ss:Type="Number"?
