Adding Contacts to Campaign List

New to campaigning...

We want to send out a campaign to all of our NetSuite Contacts.

Does each contact's email need to be verified by the individual recipient? In other words, for them to receive 1 of our campaigns, they will first receive an email from NetSuite asking them to verify their email by going to a link and putting their key/code in?
