Inventory Commitment/Drop Shipment in 11.0.6
In earlier versions of 11.0.6, we had made a change such that committed inventory items were not included on drop shipments and special orders. This was in response to some customers who preferred to drop ship for back orders only. However, during the early phases of the release we learned that many customers preferred the previous behavior.
In response, we have changed the system to default to the pre-11.0.6 behavior. However, there is a preference called "Include Committed Quantities in Drop Shipments/Special Orders" under the "Orders and Shipping" tab of "Set Up Accounting" which you can turn off to obtain the new behavior, whereby only back orders will be included.
