| NetSuite is pleased to announce the general availability ofSOAP Web Services Version 2018.2 for all NetSuite products. New Records Exposed SOAP Web Services and CSV import have added support for payment instruments. The Payment Instruments feature makes using various payments methods more straightforward and, in the case of payment cards, more secure. The Payment Instruments feature uses tokenization to substitute sensitive data with tokens. The following records are supported: [LIST] [*]Payment Card: The record contains payment card details [*]Payment Card Token: The record represents a payment card without the need to save the payment card number (PAN) [*]General Token: The record represents all types of credentials that are retained from processing alternative payment methods apart from payment cards.
