Paypal Express: managing backorders
We are struggling with express and how to best manage back orders along with partial fullfillments. Trying to keep it straight in regards to whether or not the funds are secured prior to shipping. we recently had a express payment authorization expire while waiting to fullfill the backorder.
Some questions i cant seam to find answers to:
How long before an paypal express authorization expires?
Is there any indicator in netsuite to let us know that an authorization has expired? Will netsuite let me fulfill and bill a transaction with a expired paypal authorization? Hopefully not!
Is there anyway to capture funds immediately after we approve the order and turn it into a sales order. Unless there is airtight communication between netsuite and paypal it seams there is to much room for errors such as shipping a product only to find that the fund never went through.
