Exchange Manager Question

Questions about OpenAir Exchange Manager integrated with Outlook.

I would like to sync Booking and Project Assignments but do not want every type of assignment to sync. Is it possible to limit them to only those assignments for certain Project Stages or some other criteria?

Also, do you know if it syncs events from the past (all historical bookings and assignments) the first time it is run?
