Deprecation/discontinuation Of Netsuite CRM 2014

We were made aware that Netsuite is planning to 'do away with' CRM 2014 and push everyone to the 2016 suitetalk platform. I cannot seem to find any information about these changes, what api endpoints are being affected, or a timeline on this change. The information came from our CTO and we are trying to make sure we are on top of any changes before they break. Can you provide some insight on the deprecation or discontinuation of Netsuite CRM 2014 API calls.
