Clear a Transaction Column Field Upon Create
Hi all,
I'm after some advice please. I have created a Custom Transaction Column Field that we use in Invoices and Credit Memos. When staff create a Credit Memo from an Invoice, or where they create an Invoice by copying a previous one, this particular Custom Transaction Column Field copies across to the new transaction form.
What is the best way to clear this field upon initial record creation only? That is, when staff create a new Credit Memo, I need this Column Field (of which there could be multiple - one for each Item line) to be blank. Where future changes are made to the transaction (after it's already been created), then I need to ensure we don't clear the field.
