Custom Role for an Integration User (Boomi) set up for Token access. I wasn't seeing Custom fields,

I have a Custom Role for an Integration User (Boomi) set up for Token access. I wasn't seeing any Custom fields at all once I swapped from an Admin Role for the user to the custom one, but have added all of the access as documented by boomi here: https://community.boomi.com/s/article/somecustomfieldsnotavailablewhenusingnetsuitetokenbasedauthentication
and that fixed it as-is, but any new custom fields I create, when I re-import the xml profiles the new fields aren't being added, as though NetSuite isn't extending this access to the role for new custom fields as added.
Is there something else I need to action for each new custom field going forward as well please?
