Is it possible to choose an email template to use when generating statements?

When generating statements, the email subject and body message seems to be a system generated one. I know it is possible to customise system email templates now, but the one used for statements does not seem to be one of the system templates. I would like to know if it is possible to change the template used when generating statements to customers.
