Way to call netsuite field in SMT script javascript

Looking to add a css text box with text to the PDP page.

I want to do it only if a specific field in Netsuite is checked, which is visible through the fieldsets on the website.

Is there a way to do this through SMT or are extensions the only way?  I have not been able to figure out how to get to the variable in netsuite through SMT.
