Journal Entries > Select a Bank Account that has a different Currency from the Base Currency of the
HI Team,
The base currency of my subsidiary in question is GBP. However, we need to post a journal from a USD bank account to a EUR bank account.
NetSuite isn't allowing me to do this. When I select GBP as the currency in the journal primary information then only GBP bank accounts are available
If I select EUR then only the EUR and GBP are available
If I select USD then only the USD and GBP are available.
The only work around is to post one journal from USD to GBP then post another from GBP to EUR. this works but should not be solution as it is posting a GBP transaction in the middle that doesn't exist. Can anyone help. I refuse to believe this is a system limitation. There must be standard process.
