How do I disable "NEW" in a dropdown list?

I have created a dropdown list and added it to my form.

However, I have the issue of "NEW" being an option when the users access the dropdown list.

Below are screenshots of my list as I set it up in NetSuite.





Below is how the dropdown appears now.

The - New - selection/option is what I want to disable / remove.
