Monthly Trial Balance

Trial Balance with Opening balance, for the period amount and closing balance

But the closing balance is not right.

and i stumbled across a fix that i think so many users would want to know about.

The field Amount (gross) puts the amount as a debit or credit, irrespective of account type.

This answer ID should be updated to reflect this important information!

Published 04/04/2018 04:53 AM  |   Updated 05/22/2020 08:07 AM  |   Answer Id: 71570 is where i learnt this! Suggest to do an Answer ID showing MOnthly Trial balance and showing how amount (gross) can be used to build a 12 month trial balance!!!

Howdy, Stranger!
