Can Contacts and Companies be attached from the mobile app?

Our sales team regularly meets with Contacts who could work for a number of different billable Customers. We use the Attach function under the Relationship subtab on both the Contact and Customer forms to document these associations.

However, we are struggling to find a way to perform this seemingly common action from the mobile app. I have attempted this from both iOS and Android versions, but am not finding the option.

Am I missing something or is this a known limitation of the Contact and Customer records within the mobile app?
