NSC | How to resolve error "BoMs set as Master default or Location default cannot be inactivated"?

Scenario

When Inactivating BOM, users encounter the error " "BoMs set as Master default or Location default cannot be inactivated."".

Solution

In order to inactivate the BOM, users must make sure that the BOM is not attached to the assembly. If BOMs are attached or associated to the Assembly Item, then two imports should be performed to avoid encountering the error.

I. CSV Import to set the Master Default/Default for Location to No

In this step, Import Type is Items and Record Type is Assembly/BOM Item. Users must also take note that in the Import Options, the Overwrite Sublists
