Income statement Cost of goods show breakdown

Hi there,

In NS standard report, Purchase cost shown as Cost of good sold (COGS) to summary all cost.


We prefer more traditional way shown it as Open Stock + Purchase - Closing Stock cost = COGS.

Is it possible to make the change to the report to show COGS as:

  • Open stock (+ve)
  • Purchase (+ve)
  • Purchase rebate/discount (+ve)
  • Closing stock (-ve)

I'm not familiar report and tried but failed to make it work.
