Custom Role > Create Deposit Button Is Not Available

Scenario: Administrators and some other Roles can see and click the Create Deposit button on Sales Orders. However, specific Custom Roles do not have the Create Deposit button on the same Sales Orders.

The Customer Deposit permission may have not been added to the Custom Role, or the Custom Role's Customer Deposit permission lacks the required level of access.

Here are the steps we may take:

  1. Using Administrator Role, navigate to Setup > Users/ Roles > Manage Roles
  2. Edit the Custom Role
  3. Under the Permissions subtab > Transactions sublist > Add the Customer Deposit permission
  4. Set the Access Level to Full
  5. Click Save
