Why is an error being returned when querying by Internal ID using the IS operator in REST API?

edited Mar 9, 2023 1:23AM in Search / Reporting 7 comments

Hi,

I'm using NetSuite SuiteTalk REST Web Services.

In resource metadata, "Internal ID" is of string data type.

When I tried to search by Internal ID using filters for string field type (e.g. IS) mentioned in the documentation, the service returned a 400 Bad Request error with message "Unknown field name 'id' in the search query. The field does not exist on this record type."

------- GET Request --------

GET https://test.suitetalk.api.netsuite.com/services/rest/record/v1/task?offset=0&limit=499&q=id+IS+"62"

Howdy, Stranger!
