Change to Sublist column behavior and user experience upon cursor focus since 2026.1
In NetSuite versions prior to 2026.1, when the user's cursor focused on the Description (Line) field in an Item sublist, the field would expand vertically slightly to facilitate easier visibility to existing column data when present and the user's cursor would be automatically placed at the bottom of any existing text.
Since 2026.1 Customers are reporting a change to this expected behavior in that the column no longer expands to afford more flexible access and visibility to existing data.
In 2026.1, the user's cursor still lands at the bottom of any existing text but the sublist column field height/size is no longer adjusted to allow greater visibility to existing text.
