Rejected Stock

I'm looking for a solution to be able to book/transfer rejected stock in such a way that it's still visible as stock (awaiting answer from a vendor to return or scrap), but not include these quantities in the available stock, so the rejected items are not included in determining a new PO needs to be placed based on reorder point.
