Triggering Workflow actions through SuiteTalk(Webservices)?

Hello,

I've been looking for an equivalent to nlapiTriggerWorkflow in SuiteTalk(Webservices), but couldn't really find anything in the Help guide. So I'm wondering if there was a way to trigger workflow actions through webservices or if there might be some kind of work around to this.

What we're trying to achieve is to update a sales order custom field (which is done through the workflow) once an order is sent over to our fulfillment warehouse (which is done through webservices).

Any information would be appreciated.
