Update Entity Status pulldown via other pulldown
My goal is to give sales reps the ability to edit their quote statuses and probabilities from a custom search dashboard. The Forecast Manager doesn't work because it only shows resellers and not end-user customers.
Since the Probability field and Opportunity/Quote Status fields don't have the quick edit option, I've created 2 new fields to represent them. I have a workflow that replaces the value of the Probability field with the custom Probability field that allows quick edit. This works fine.
The problem is with the Opportunity/Estimate Status field. When I try updating it from another field (setup as List), it chokes and says there is an 'invalid entitystatus reference field'.
