Notify if stock levels drop below amount
Hi!
So here's what I'm trying to do:
I'm trying to create a Workflow that is attached to a Sales Order that sends an email if any of the items on that sales order cause that item's inventory to drop below a certain level. Because uncommitted orders aren't deducted from the available inventory, the work flow should initiate if the SO quantity minus the available inventory is below our desired stock level.
So far, this seems impossible to accomplish. I can create a saved search that runs on a schedule and shows me a list of items that meet my parameters, but I can't get the workflow to trigger an email if the item in question meets my parameters.
