Multiple Select Fields formula?

I'd like to be able to send an email via workflow if a certain value is selected from a custom Multiple Select field.  Unfortunately, multiple select fields aren't an option when choosing a visual builder condition for a workflow action.  They do show up when using a formula, but I don't know if it is possible to check a value of a multiple select via formula.  Does anyone know if this is possible?
