Workflow / Show Message in View Mode based on fields
Trying to write a simple workflow: When I View a Customer record I want to Show Message "This Customer has Finance Problems" if the customer has Days Overdue > 0 or Credit Hold = ON.
Seemed easy enough until I wrote it and nothing happened (other than the Workflow / State show up in Workflow history).
Played around (trying virtually every criteria, no criteria, every trigger) and can get the message to print in EDIT mode but not VIEW.
Is this one of those crazy "can't get there from here" workflow trigger deals?
I found a posting with a similar issue with suggestions but no resolution.
