iPad Functionality - or other Mobile Solutions

I'm curious to hear from NS users who are using an iPad, and what their experience has been. Our business has estimators who are in customer's homes to provide quotes and we are looking for a good mobile solution that would allow the estimator to create an estimate on-site. To date, we have had problems in testing an iPad, where some information can be created in NS, but not the estimate function.

Does anyone has a similar experience with iPad, or have you found a better mobile solution that allows for more than just viewing capability within Netsuite?
