Differentiating Item Types
I'm trying to have items on an estimate display differently based on what type of item they are. For instance, if an item is a Description I don't want to display the item name, only the description itself. I'm trying to use an if/else statement, which I thought would be the easiest way, but I'm running into an issue. Here's approximately what I'm doing:
<#if item.type = "Description"> <#else> ${item.item} </#if>
However descriptions still print the item. I've tried just displaying ${item.type} on the form but it comes up blank. Does this mean I can't use the type field in the advanced forms? Or am I using the wrong field?
