Advanced PDF/HTML Templates will Return Boolean Data Type

Previously, in advanced PDF/HTML templates, a boolean data type field on a related record returned a string data type. As of NetSuite version 2017.1, the returning data type will be boolean. This functionality typically applies to check boxes.
What is Changing?
As of NetSuite version 2017.1, advanced PDF/HTML templates that evaluate a boolean data type field on a related record will return a boolean data type.
If a template has not been updated, after this change occurs, an error similar to the following will appear when you try to create a printout or when you save the template:
