Despairing: cannot see project margins
I've been struggling for three years to find a way to see my margins on a project or on a sales order. I've tried every possible way but every method seems to fail.
All I want to know for every project is:
* revenue = sales orders from client
* costs = purchase orders from contractors
I don't need costs per hour, intervals, time and materials, expenses. Just want see what all the POs issued come to for each project.
How can I link a PO to a project or a sales order? It seems I can create custom field on the PO to link to a project, but then what reporting can I use to see margins.
