Permissions for ICJE and intercompany
As a growing, multi-national company, we have different accounting teams transacting in specific subsidiaries. If the users role restricts him/her to their home subsidiary only, then nothing is available for selection in the "To Subsidiary" field of the ICJE (Intercompany Journal Entry). So, it appears anyone needing to create an ICJE must belong to a role with access to any potential subsidiary. NS Support has advised of this approach, but it's simply not acceptable for us.
I suppose I can create an ICJE-related role with limited access to only that ICJE transaction in any subsidiary. But, that's still not an ideal solution.
