Create New Subsidiary - Move Subset of Transactions et al From Existing Subsidiary

Client is in acquisition mode, acquiring companies as new subsidiaries and reorganizing the orgchart.
Have you ever "moved" partial source subsidiary records' entity, transactions, schedules data etc., to new, target subsidiary?
