Confusing feedback from NS RE elimination
We have following structure
Parent
Sub A (sub of Parent)
Sub B (sub of Parent)
Sub C (sub of Parent)
Historically, all intercompany transactions were between Parent & Subs.
Now, we will begin having intercompany SO/PO between Sub A and Sub B (IE, at the child level).
In a conversation with Netsuite, a colleague was told that for this to eliminate properly, an artificial hierarchy must be created to allow for more elimination companies, IE
Parent
Sub A (sub of Parent)
Sub B (sub of Sub A)
This seemed incorrect to me, that the elimination subsidiary at the level of Sub A-C (above) should be able to eliminate transactions between A/B, B/C, C/A, etc.
