what size / format for company image on pdf layouts

Hi team

I want to start using a company image on all my layouts instead of just plain vanilla.

What size should this be and what format? I have seen some invoices from others and it looks rather fuzzy sometimes. I do not have a complicated company logo. It is text in two colours over a couple of circles. Would I be best to have a simple .jpg of the circles and then get a netsuite field to print smack on top of it so the text is sharp.

I imagine that your replies will be something like......

logo.jpg    75x75 pixells  no more than 35kb file size
