Generate and Issue Price Lists

I would like to create price lists that I can send to customers.
I would like items to be grouped by class and ordered by name.
I would like to exclude certain classes.
I would like one list for each currency, not just the base currency.

So what is the best way of going about this? Do you think reports? or custom searches?

Any pointers gratefully accepted.
