Thank you to everyone for your passion, collaboration, and support. Here’s to building an even stronger community together in the year ahead!
Season’s greetings to you and yours! As we head into the holidays (December 24 – January 4), we want to take a moment to celebrate the incredible strength and collaboration within our community. Even during the break, you can continue to benefit from connecting with peers, searching related threads, posting your questions, and marking helpful replies as “Accepted” in the Support Community.
Please note our dedicated team will be on reduced coverage during this time, and regular responsiveness will resume on January 5. Wishing you a joyful and restful holiday season!

How do YOU name your NetSuite items?
How do YOU name your NetSuite items?
This question is ONLY directed to people who have NOT run into problems with item searches ... item searches in both the WEB STORE and item searches when adding an item to a SO (in the NetSuite back end). Sales Order item searches should work for both "descriptive terms" and "part number". Web store searches only need to work with the "descriptive terms", but I wouldn't object tot them aslo working with the part number.
Please format your answer like THIS:
Enter the data for a NEW item using your tried and true naming scheme. The item is called a "Cosswell Cog" by both you and your vendor. The vendor part number is 123456 and you also use the same part numbers as your vendors.
