regional usergroup, or......need feedback please?

I have been having some extensive conversations with other senior users, and want to throw out an idea in hopes of getting some feedback.

This idea started from a thread where I made a statement along the lines of there not being many users in the pacific NW states. (Wow, was I wrong again on that one). Someone asked about regional groups in hopes of networking with users closer to home, and I piped up. (my big mouth strikes again). However, much like my original NS program, the idea has evolved. I have had inquiries from many people, so I am not altogether certain what the goal is anymore.
