How to remove a shortcut

Hi all,

I know this is something silly I am probably missing but I cant seem to work it out..

Once I have created a shotcurt on my main page...  How do I remove it??


I went into " setup shortcuts "       and removed the tick next to the shortcut and removed the field.... 

but then it just says that I must enter something there  " Field must contain a value "

I just want to delete the field?  but cant see where to do this...
