Update Sales Order Form from Suitelet
What I’m trying to accomplish is to update fields in a custom sub-tab for a transaction that has already been saved, via a suitelet. The flow of work is that the user lands on the already saved Sales Order Form (non-edit mode). The user presses a custom button (user event script) which takes the user to a second custom form (suitelet). When the user presses the custom button, the user event script captures the id value (I’m assuming that the ID value in the url is a ‘handle’ to the saved sales order transaction) in the url and passes that
