Netsuite Speed - Best Client / Browser Combination?

As most of you know, you can click on the NetSuite logo to get a breakdown of the where speed delays occur.  This feature works on every NetSuite tab except Home.  Here are the results from my cleint:
Total   2.384
Server   0.073 (3.06%)
Network   0.557 (23.36%)
Client   1.754 (73.57%)

Note that my client is responsible for 73% of the speed issue.  NetSuite's server and my Internet connection are very good.

I would appreciate any recommendations on PC / browser /memory configurations that would optimize NetSuite's performance on my PC.  My PC is fairly new and I have 2GB of memory installed.  My MacBook is older, but it is much faster.
