Giving child items data-feed-independence by giving them a complete data set

I wanted to start a thread on this topic because it has been useful to us.  We've mostly completed this task and it was difficult, but has been more useful than anticipated. We will continue finding even more uses for this data as time goes on.  Without doing this, your data is severely hampered in working with third party systems.

Here are places we use this data.

Amazon Listings transferred by FarApp
Nextopia - enhanced in-store item search
GoDataFeed - Sends our items to google-shopping and others

And today we found that this data will be invaluable in our integration with quick-order-pro which enhances our 3rd party customer center re-order system.
