Development Best Practices

I'm looking for comments on best practices for managing the development, testing, and deployment phases, where multiple developers may be working on one or more work-stream?  We will use bundles to move customizations from the Development sandbox to the Testing sandbox, and then on to the Production account.  Any tips or suggestions are welcomed!
