Best Practice for Investor records
Hi,
In the OneWorld environment, where you have multiple subsidiaries rolling up to a parent company, what is the best practice to treat investors for each company?
Currently I have modified the "Other Names" list to use it as "Investor" records for all capital contributing entities for each subsidiary, with subsidiary based number codes (since there is no way to associate one "Other Name"(Investor in my case) with multiple subsidiaries).
I was wondering what the best practice around treating capital contributing entities is. You can't possibly treat them as Vendors, since you're not doing business with any of them. So you need a separate list. If I use the Other Names list, it only allows for very limited functionality and provides very limited reporting capabilities.
