inventory shows none on hand..but

I have an inventory item on my shelf.  I am looking at it.  When I open the item record, it shows zero on hand, zero available, but when I tab to serials, it shows one on hand, and when searching on that serial, it shows available, and the receipt it came in on.

I found that originally, a special order PO was created for two items on an SO- The PO ordered them.  The customer decided they only wanted one of them, so notes were made, and one of them was placed into stock.  Logically, it makes sense.

yet we cannot sell this, as it is showing as none in stock.  Cannot fulfill something we dont have- but the record is conflicting.
