Creating Marketing Campaigns

Anyone else getting a pop up saying that they need to enter a value for "Promotion Code" when I try to create a new campaign.  It is not a mandatory field.  Even when I create a promotion code for the campaign, it still gives me that error.

I have created email campaigns before with out a problem so I am wondering if this is a bug and if anyone else is experiencing this or if someone has a work arround.
