Formula Using "to_number" Appears Case Sensitive
My general experience has been that the Oracle SQL functions, expressions, keywords, etc are NOT case sensitive.
However, using all upper case "TO_NUMBER({systemnotes.newvalue})" throws an unexpected error.
The all lower case version works fine:
to_number({systemnotes.newvalue})
REF: Case# 1182458
This cost me at least 2 hours of testing/diagnostics/trying work-arounds/etc, and then another hour with Support. I don't really have that kind of time to waste.
